Do you have to cope with an impairment during your studies, such as a disability or a chronic illness, or have you suffered the loss of someone close to you? For some people these problems are often separate from their studies, but that’s not your experience. Problems originating from your studies, such as perfectionism, fear of failure or a competitive spirit, often influence how you cope with a personal impairment during your studies. And vice versa. Perhaps you want to complete your studies on your own merit, without help from others. Or perhaps it’s difficult for you to show other people your vulnerable side. This might prevent you from using the facilities provided by the university. There are more students with similar experiences. You will find their stories here.
